NavajoCodeTalkersHello from chilly and snowy Wisconsin!

Winter has truly arrived here in Wisconsin and, judging by the weather maps, it’s found it’s blustery way across the country.  What better way to pass these cold and snowy days of winter than starting a new quilt?  I love Navajo Code Talkers, a new Timeless Traditions pattern by Norma Whaley.  This is quite an interesting quilt.  The individual blocks that make up some of the strips within this quilt make it fun to put together and visually quite stunning.

I like the colors used on the pattern cover, but you could mix and match to suit your taste.  This would be a great quilt to put all of your scraps to good use–clean out that scrap basket or closet before the New Year and start fresh in 2014!  If you find that you don’t have quite enough fabric, stop by or call the store and we can help put together a kit for you.

Finished quilt size is 60″ x 75″.

Stay warm!

Julie
