A Loveable Table Runner- Charlie

Hello everyone,

I, like many of my state-side readers I’m sure, have officially recovered from the Thanksgiving holiday extravaganza of turkey, stuffing, more turkey, mashed potatoes, and more turkey!  With a short jaunt now before Christmas, I’m setting my sights on completing at least one more table runner before old St. Nick comes to town.  Charlie, reminiscent of that lovable Peanuts character’s tree, is just the project for me.  A simple pieced background, wool branches, and vintage buttons on each branch tip make for a delightful table runner that is easy to put together.  You may want to make an extra one (or two…).  This would make a wonderful hostess gift!  At 6 1/2″ x 31″, this piece would be lovely on any table in your home.
