I am less than pleased that the southern part of Wisconsin is forecasted to receive more snow. Enough is enough! Like I’ve said before, I’m ready for spring. Last week, I said if you wanted flowers now, take a look at Spools in the Flower Patch. I guess we’re no closer to spring, so you may need to stitch yourself a few more blooms! Garden Charm is another fun mixed media project that I know you’ll enjoy.
The flowers and basket in this project are made from hand-dyed wool and the background
and triangles are pieced with cotton. We then took the whole quilt and framed it over a sheet music covered piece of foam core. The finished product (including the foam core) fits nicely into a 16″ x 20″ frame. The kit comes with the wool and cotton. If you need sheet music, just give the store a call and we can include some in your order. You will also need the book French Inspirations for the pattern.
Think spring!!!!
