Hello again!
A question that comes up pretty frequently at the store is what size a quilt should be for a particular size bed. We generally make our bed quilts to have a 15″ drop so they lay more like a comforter than a bedspread. This table is a good reference if you’re ever wondering just how big you need to make that quilt.
As always, I would recommend that you measure your bed (just for safe measure). It’s also not a bad idea to measure your mattress thickness. A 15″ drop will be just fine for the majority of mattresses, but if you have an extra thick one, you may need to adjust.
I hope you found this useful!
Until next time,
Julie
