Good Golly Miss Molly, indeed!  I know the name screams autumn, but I’m eyeing up Molly B’s Harvest Collection now– what a beautiful grouping of rusts, blacks, greys, and greens!  We are selling this as a set of 16 fat quarters, but just give us a call at the store if you’d like to purchase yardage of any of these beauties.

As a reminder, the Wisconsin Shop Hop runs until June 29th, so if you haven’t stopped into the store yet, please do!  We’d love to see you all.

Hello everyone,

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth at the MQ Quilt show in Duluth.  We had such a great time.

June sure is a busy month.  We are packing again to head down to Chicago for the International Quilt Festival.  If you’re going to the show, hop on over to the JJ Stitches booth and say hello!  The show runs from June 21st-23rd, 10am-6pm on Friday and Saturday, and 10am-3pm on Sunday the 23rd.

As you remember, I promised I would share some of my favorite finds from Market and this book, Fresh from the Prairies, by Devon Lavigne and Sharon Smith, is certainly one of them.  I love the traditional blocks and I think you’ll find the detailed instructions to be quite helpful.  They playful, Western-themed pattern names are also quite fun (Cowboy Up…One Horse Town…).

If you’ve order my History Repeated fabric and haven’t made anything with it yet, I would recommend the star quilt pattern call Aurora– one of the 12 wonderful patterns in this book.  Whichever pattern you choose to start with, drop us a line on this blog.  We’d love to see your creations!

I’m busy, busy, busy packing up items to take to the MQ Show and Conference.  As a reminder, if you’re in the Duluth area, the show runs from Jun 12-15th at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center, at 350 Harbor Drive.  I will be sharing new kits, patterns, and books at the show, so stop by the booth and check out what’s new.

The store will be open normal hours while I’m in Minnesota.

Hello again!
It’s been a long time coming, but I’m happy to say that we have the next 32 fabrics from my History Repeated collection available! This adds to the original 30 pieces, with some great tan background prints in this grouping.  If you ordered the first set, you can mix and match with these fabrics for sure.  We are going to use some of the striped fabric on the border of one of our next quilts.  I’ll post some pictures when it’s ready.

You can order these as fat quarters online or you can call the store for yardage.

I’m getting ready for the Minnesota Quilters Show and Conference which runs from June 12-15th in Duluth, MN.  I will have lots of new goodies to share at the show, so stop on by the booth!

If you’ve ever struggled to find the right orange or green to fit in your quilt, I’ve got the perfect fabric collection for you.  Sienna has a beautiful pallete of soft greens, tans, and oranges in florals that aren’t the least bit fussy, as well as geometric blenders that will add a subtle structure to your piece.  I hope you enjoy these as much as I have!

We’ve made some room at the store for some great new fabrics and this collection from Jo Morton is one of my new favorites. Madison Manor is a beautiful collection of reds, greens, grays, and blacks blend well with any of Jo’s other fabrics.
